Garlic Sauce Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 (4-oz) center cut pork chops
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 1½ Tbsp almond flour
  • 2½ tsp butter, divided
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in almond flour.
  2. Heat 1½ tsp butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chops 3 minutes per side or until browned. Remove chops, and keep warm.
  3. Wipe skillet clean; return to heat. Add 1 tsp butter and garlic to skillet; cook 1 minute until garlic is soft. Add cream; cook 1 minute. Spoon sauce on chops.

  • 3 Tbsp chopped walnuts
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg green beans, trimmed
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Combine beans and ¼ cup water in a large skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 minutes or until beans are tender.
  2. Uncover; cook 3 minutes or until water is evaporated.
  3. Add oil, salt, and pepper; toss. Sprinkle with nuts before serving.
