Nutty Chocolate Crisp Bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1¼ cups creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1½ cups milk chocolate chips
- 1¾ cups crisp rice cereal
Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup peanut butter in a bowl; mix until well blended.
- Press mixture in bottom of an ungreased 9-inch square pan.
- Combine ¼ cup peanut butter and chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Microwave at High in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in cereal.
- Spread chocolate mixture over peanut butter layer in pan. Chill at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Let stand at room temperature a few minutes before cutting into bars. Store bars in refrigerator. Makes 16 bars.
