Lemonade Scones

Ingredients
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 5 Tbsp butter, cut into pieces
- ½ (8-oz) block cream cheese, cut into pieces
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup plus 4 Tbsp lemonade, divided
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in butter and cream cheese using a pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly.
- Whisk together cream, ⅓ cup lemonade, and egg; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn out dough onto a heavily floured surface; pat into an 8-inch circle.
- Cut into 8 wedges. Place wedges on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown and done. Cool on baking sheet 15 minutes.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and 4 Tbsp lemonade until smooth. Drizzle over warm scones.
