Ingredients
- 12 slices center cut bacon
- ½ cup peach or apricot preserves
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 12 slices sourdough bread
- 6 romaine lettuce leaves
- 12 slices Gouda cheese
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until done. Wipe skillet clean.
- Meanwhile, stir together preserves and thyme. Spread mixture on bread slices. Assemble sandwiches with bacon, lettuce, and cheese. Cook sandwiches, in batches, in hot oil in same skillet 3 minutes per side or until golden.

- 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, halved
- 1 (4.4-oz) pkg blueberries
- 2 Tbsp lime juice

- Toss together all ingredients. Chill, if desired.
