Cheesy Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef and onion in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Add pasta sauce, and season lightly with salt and pepper; cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
  2. Unroll crescent dough, and arrange triangles over cheese in skillet. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan.
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
