Ingredients

  • 1½ lb 90% lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz whole-grain elbow macaroni
  • 1½ cups fire-roasted marinara sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown beef, onion, and garlic in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat; drain.
  2. Add pasta, marinara sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, pepper, salt, and water to skillet; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender; sprinkle with cheese.
