Cheesy Ham and Green Bean Casserole
Tossed Green Salad
Ingredients
- ¼ (16-oz) pkg rigatoni
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ lb green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 (8-oz) pkg chopped ham
- ½ cup fish-shaped Cheddar crackers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until just tender. Add green beans, and cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Gradually stir in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese, mustard, thyme, and garlic powder until cheese is melted.
- Stir in ham and pasta. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1½-quart baking dish.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with crackers.

- 1 Roma tomato, chopped
- ¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette
