Slow-Cooker Grillades

Ingredients

  • 1 lb round steak, cut into 6-inch pieces
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can petite diced tomatoes
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned. Transfer to a 3½- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  3. Add tomatoes, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning to cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. Serve over Cheesy Cauli-Grits.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (14-oz) pkg frozen cauliflower florets
  • ⅓ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp whipping cream
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook cauliflower according to package directions.
  2. Process cauliflower, cheese, cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
  3. Place in a saucepan over medium heat; cook until thoroughly heated.
