Kids' Steak Bowls
Ingredients
- 1 (5-oz) pouch Montreal steak 30-minute marinade (or use other steak marinade)
- 1½ lb flank steak
- 2 (8.8-oz) pouches long-grain white rice
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 avocados, chopped or sliced
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded triple Cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg multigrain tortilla chips (or use any tortilla chips on hand)
- 1 (16-oz) container fresh salsa
Instructions
- Pour marinade over steak in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal and chill 30 minutes. Drain and season steak with salt and pepper.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak 15 to 20 minutes or to desired doneness. Cool and chop.
- Cook rice according to package directions. Stir in cilantro and butter until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Arrange steak, rice, avocado, cheese, and chips in 6 bowls. Serve with salsa.
