Creamy Turmeric Chicken
Green Pea RiceIngredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Cook chicken, onion, salt, and pepper in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned. Stir in turmeric and garlic powder.
- Add broth and cream to skillet; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until sauce is thickened and chicken is done. Top with cilantro.

- 2 (3.5-oz) pouches boil-in-bag brown rice
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green peas
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- ½ cup pine nuts (or use walnuts)
- ½ tsp salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, cook peas in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes or until browned and tender. Add rice to peas. Stir in onions, nuts, and salt.
