Buffalo Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground turkey (or use ground beef)
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp buffalo wing sauce
  • ¼ cup Ranch dressing
  • 2 Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 romaine lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Gently mix together turkey, garlic salt, garlic, onion, and celery using your hands. Shape into 2 patties.
  2. Cook burgers in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 6 minutes per side. Remove burgers from skillet.
  3. Melt butter in skillet over low heat. Add wing sauce to skillet. Return burgers to skillet, and turn to coat.
  4. Combine Ranch dressing and cheese crumbles.
  5. Serve burgers on lettuce leaves. Drizzle with blue cheese sauce.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1½ Tbsp sour cream
  • ½ Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine cucumber, sour cream, vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
