Blackened Catfish
Cajun SlawIngredients
- 1 lb catfish fillets, thawed and patted dry
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp blackened seasoning
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Dip fillets in melted butter; sprinkle with blackened seasoning.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat on stove top, or grill outdoors using a grill pan.
- Heat oil in skillet; cook fillets 3 to 4 minutes per side or until fish flakes with a fork.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- ½ (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- ½ green bell pepper, cut into julienne strips
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, and Creole seasoning in a bowl.
- Add coleslaw, bell pepper, and onion; toss.
