Garlic-Rubbed Flank Steak
Grilled Caesar Romaine Salad 
						
						
						
					Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ½ Tbsp minced garlic
- ½ Tbsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¾ lb flank steak, trimmed
- 1 onion, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Combine ½ Tbsp oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Add beef and onion to bowl; toss.
- Heat ½ Tbsp oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and onion; cook 4 minutes on one side, and turn. Place skillet in oven.
- Broil 8 to 10 minutes, turning steak once and stirring onions. Let stand 10 minutes; thinly slice beef across the grain.
Side Dish Ingredients

- 1 romaine lettuce heart, halved lengthwise
- 1½ Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat; brush ½ Tbsp oil on cut sides of lettuce.
- Grill 2 minutes or until lettuce is slightly charred, turning often.
- Whisk together ½ Tbsp oil, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, cheese, salt, and pepper; drizzle dressing over lettuce.
