Banana Cake with Cinnamon-Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed banana
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- ½ (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine banana and oil in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended. Add both sugars; beat well.
- Add egg and vanilla; beat until blended. Add flour, ½ tsp cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda; beat until just blended. Add yogurt and milk; beat until blended. Pour batter into prepared dish.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes; invert onto a wire rack, and cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed until smooth. Add ½ tsp cinnamon and powdered sugar; beat until well blended. Spread frosting on cooled cake. Cut into squares.
