Fancy Hamburger Steaks
Mashed Potatoes and Steamed PeasIngredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 6 slices bacon
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced baby portobello mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef and seasoning; shape mixture into 6 patties. Wrap each patty in 1 slice bacon and secure with a wooden pick.
- Grill patties 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and tender; lightly season with salt and pepper.
- Serve mushroom mixture over patties.

- 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 1 (15-oz) pkg frozen green peas
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
- Steam peas in microwave according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
