Italian Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients
- 1 (19.76-oz) pkg Italian sausage links
- 2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp chicken broth
- 2 Roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cook sausage in a Dutch oven over medium heat until browned all over. Remove from pot, and slice sausage. Return to pot.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- ⅔ of a cucumber, chopped
- ½ red onion, chopped
- ⅔ cup Ranch dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine lettuce, cucumber, and onion; top with dressing.
