Italian Pesto Burgers

Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- 1 jar pesto, divided
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 slices mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 hamburger buns
- ½ tomato, thinly sliced
- ½ (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce (or use ½ [1-oz] pkg fresh basil)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together beef, 2 Tbsp pesto, and vinegar. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Shape into 2 patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Top with cheese, and grill 1 minute longer or just until cheese is melted.
- Stir together mayonnaise and 2 Tbsp pesto. Spread mixture on buns. Serve burgers on buns with tomato and lettuce.

- ½ (24-oz) pkg frozen waffle-cut French fries
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
