Hawaiian Barbecue Pizzas
Carrot-Raisin Salad
Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 (10-inch) prebaked pizza crusts
- ⅔ cup barbecue sauce
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (6-oz) pkg Canadian bacon, chopped
- ½ cored pineapple, drained and finely chopped
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill pizza crusts 3 minutes. Spread barbecue sauce on crusts. Top each with 1 cup cheese, bacon, Canadian bacon, and pineapple. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Grill 6 to 8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple yogurt (or use vanilla yogurt)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 lb carrots, grated or shredded
- ½ cored pineapple, drained and chopped
- ½ cup raisins
Side Dish Instructions
- Mix together yogurt, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in carrots, pineapple, and raisins until blended. If desired, chill several hours.
