Taco Burgers
Chips and Salsa
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- 12 slices colby-Jack cheese
- 6 hamburger buns, lightly toasted
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 avocados, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef and seasoning mix; shape into 6 patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each patty with 2 slices cheese; grill 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Serve burgers on buns with sour cream, lettuce, and avocado. For extra crunch, top each burger with a handful of corn chips, if desired.

- 1 (10.25-oz) pkg corn chips (or use tortilla chips)
- 1 (16-oz) jar salsa
