Slow Cooker Barbecue Brisket
Creamy Broccoli Slaw
Ingredients
- 1½ cups sliced sweet onions
- 1½ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1½ lb beef brisket, trimmed
- ⅔ cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup low-sodium beef broth
Instructions
- Place onions in a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Rub seasoning on both sides of brisket; place over onions in cooker, cutting brisket into pieces, if necessary. Pour barbecue sauce and broth over brisket.
- Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until tender. Slice before serving.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Let stand 30 minutes before serving, if desired .
