Slow Cooker Barbecue Brisket

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups sliced sweet onions
  • 1½ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1½ lb beef brisket, trimmed
  • ⅔ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup low-sodium beef broth

Instructions

  1. Place onions in a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Rub seasoning on both sides of brisket; place over onions in cooker, cutting brisket into pieces, if necessary. Pour barbecue sauce and broth over brisket.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until tender. Slice before serving.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Let stand 30 minutes before serving, if desired .
