Rosemary-White Cheddar Cheeseburgers

Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly grated sharp white Cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary (or use 2 tsp dried crushed rosemary)
- ½ tsp pepper
- 4 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 large red leaf lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Instructions
- Combine cheese, rosemary, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle burgers with salt.
- Preheat grill pan over medium-high heat. Add patties, and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink, topping with cheese mixture during last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Serve burgers in lettuce leaves with tomato slices; sprinkle with additional fresh rosemary, if on hand. Serve with a knife and fork.
