Burgers and Waffle Fry Sliders
Corn CasseroleIngredients
- ½ (20-or 24-oz) pkg frozen waffle fries
- ¾ lb ground round (or use ground turkey)
- 1 tsp Greek seasoning
- Ketchup
- Bread and butter pickles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake waffle fries according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, shape beef into 8 small thin patties (2 to 2½ inches in size); sprinkle both sides with Greek seasoning.
- Cook in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
- To assemble sliders, top each waffle fry (as the bun) with a mini burger; add a squirt of ketchup and pickles. Serve open-faced or add waffle fry as top bun.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (8.5-oz) box corn muffin mix
- 1 (15-oz) can whole kernel corn, well drained
- 1 (15-oz) can creamed corn
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup sour cream
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together muffin mix, corn, creamed corn, eggs, and butter. Stir in sour cream. Pour into an 8-inch baking dish.
- Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until center is set. Cool 10 minutes. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
