Cookie Dough Frosted Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 (18.4-oz) pkg brownie mix
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup plus 1 Tbsp milk, divided
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 13- x 9-inch pan with cooking spray. Stir together brownie mix, eggs, ½ cup milk, and oil in a large bowl until blended. Do not over mix. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until center is completely set. Cool completely.
- Beat butter at medium-high speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add powdered sugar; mix at low speed 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium, and beat until blended. Add brown sugar, salt, vanilla, and 1 Tbsp milk; beat well. Fold in 1 cup mini chocolate chips.
- Spread frosting on cooled brownies. Sprinkle with ½ cup chocolate chips. Cut into bars or squares; store in refrigerator.
