Easy Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 (4-oz) bar unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine butter and chocolate in a saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted.
- Stir in brown sugar and cream.
- Bring to a boil over medium -high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
- Pour into a heatproof container, and refrigerate up to 1 month.
- Heat gently in microwave before using.
