Ingredients

  • 1 (25.5-oz) pkg frozen breaded chicken nuggets
  • 1 cup lemonade 
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp sweet red chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp refrigerated minced ginger (from a 4 oz tube)
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Fry or bake chicken according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together lemonade, soy sauce, vinegar, chile sauce, honey, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Bring sauce to a boil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  4. Stir in ginger and chicken nuggets; toss.
  5. Serve over rice, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro.
