Chocolate-Caramel Pretzel Bites

Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) pkg mini pretzel twists
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 (12-oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chips
- Coarse sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; spread pretzels in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium-low heat 5 minutes or until thick, bubbly, and forms a smooth caramel.
- Pour caramel mixture over pretzels. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate. Bake 1 minute longer.
- Spread melted chocolate over candy using a spatula; sprinkle lightly with salt.
- Let cool; freeze 2 hours to harden. Break candy into small irregular pieces; store in refrigerator.
