Barbecue Beef and Bacon Biscuit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg bacon, chopped
  • 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1½ lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  2. Separate biscuits, and press into bottom of a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bake biscuits 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook beef in same skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in barbecue sauce and mustard; spoon over partially-baked biscuit layer. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese.
  4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions. Toss with butter in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
