Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • ¾ cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, mushrooms, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in broth, soup, and Worcestershire; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, and stir in sour cream; season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over noodles.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg extra-wide egg noodles
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 1 (15-oz) pkg frozen green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions; toss with butter until melted.
  2. Steam green beans according to package directions; season to taste with salt and pepper.
