Grilled Teriyaki Pork Sandwiches
Sweet Potato Waffle FriesIngredients
- 1 (18.4-oz) pkg teriyaki pork tenderloin
- 1 (8-oz) can sliced pineapple, drained
- ½ red onion, cut into ½-inch-thick slices
- 2 hamburger buns, split
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ½ (1-oz) pkg fresh basil, chopped
- ½ head iceberg lettuce, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill pork, covered, 10 minutes per side or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion reads 145°F. Grill pineapple and onion 2 to 3 minutes per side or until charred. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute.
- Let pork stand 5 minutes; thinly slice. Stir together mayonnaise and basil; spread on cut sides of buns. Serve pork on buns with lettuce, pineapple, and onion.
