Strawberry-Basil “Nice” Cream

Ingredients
- 3 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 (13.5-ounce) can coconut milk
- 1 (16-ounce) package unsweetened frozen whole strawberries (about 3 cups)
- ½ cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup packed fresh basil leaves
- ⅛ tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Place the almond milk, coconut milk, strawberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, basil, and salt in a blender; blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a 11⁄2-quart electric ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to an airtight container; freeze until firm, about 3 hours .
