Grilled Chicken Salad with Avocado and Almonds

Ingredients
- ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2½ Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ½ tsp kosher salt, divided
- ¼ cup chopped almonds
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 (5-oz) pkg mixed salad greens
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken in a small dish; drizzle with ½ Tbsp oil, and sprinkle with ¼ tsp salt.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Add chicken, and grill 5 to 7 minutes per side or until done. Cool; chop chicken.
- Meanwhile, toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until golden and fragrant.
- Whisk together lime juice, 2 Tbsp oil, ¼ tsp salt, and garlic powder.
- Toss together greens, chicken, avocado, and nuts. Drizzle with dressing. Toss.
