Tomato-Basil Tortellini Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24-oz) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 1 (32-oz) carton chicken broth
  • 1 (25-oz) pkg frozen tortellini

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, broth, and tortellini; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tortellini is tender.

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 (14-oz) loaf Italian bread, sliced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Stir together oil and garlic in a small bowl.
  2. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet; brush with garlic oil. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
