French Onion Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties
  • 2 thin slices provolone cheese
  • ½ small onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Add cheese; cook 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts.
  2. Meanwhile, cook onion in hot oil in a small skillet over medium heat 12 to 15 minutes or until tender and browned. Serve cheeseburgers with onions.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini, cut into sticks
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ (2.12-oz) pkg Parmesan cheese crisps, crushed (about 6 crisps)
  • 1½ Tbsp almond flour 

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together zucchini, 1½ Tbsp beaten egg, paprika, garlic salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add cheese crisps and almond flour. Discard any remaining egg.
  2. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until zucchini is golden, turning after 10 minutes.
