Seven-Layer Dip Taco Boats

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 (8-count) pkg soft flour tortilla taco boats (or use 1 [10.9-oz] pkg stand-and-stuff soft taco dinner kit
  • 2 Tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (15-oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened.
  2. Meanwhile, heat taco boats according to package directions. Heat beans according to package directions, and spread in bottom of each taco boat.
  3. Top with meat mixture, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa, and tomatoes.
