Crunchy Taco Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
- 3 Tbsp taco sauce
- 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced pepper-Jack cheese
- 1 (8-oz) container refrigerated guacamole
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 (11-oz) pkg nacho cheese tortilla chips (or use tortilla chips)
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, taco sauce, and seasoning mix; shape mixture into 6 large patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink. Top each patty with cheese, and let stand 1 minute until melted.
- Meanwhile, stir together guacamole and mayonnaise. Spread mixture on buns. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomatoes, and desired amount of chips.
