Barbecue Beef Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ (14.5-oz) pkg tortilla chips
  • 1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 avocados, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook beef and onion in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until beef is browned and crumbly. Add garlic paste; cook 1 minute.
  2. Stir in barbecue sauce; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Spread chips on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Top with beef mixture and cheese. Bake 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with avocados.
