Sweet-Hot Chicken
Broccoli Slaw and Garlic Toast
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey mustard dressing
- 2 Tbsp hot sauce
- 3 (6-oz) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1½ tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Combine teriyaki, honey mustard, and hot sauce in a saucepan; cook over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until thickened.
- Meanwhile, cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until browned. Stir in honey mustard mixture, turning to coat chicken. Cook 3 minutes or until chicken is done.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 small cloves garlic
- ½ (8-oz) loaf French bread, cut into 3 slices
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¾ tsp Dijon mustard
- ¾ tsp honey
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Cut 1 garlic clove in half; mince remaining garlic clove, and set aside.
- Place bread on a baking sheet; rub with halved garlic cloves, and drizzle with ½ Tbsp oil. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
- Whisk together lemon juice, 1 Tbsp oil, Dijon, honey, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a bowl. Add broccoli; toss. Chill until ready to serve.
