Broccoli Slaw and Garlic Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey mustard dressing
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce
  • 3 (6-oz) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1½ tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine teriyaki, honey mustard, and hot sauce in a saucepan; cook over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until thickened.
  2. Meanwhile, cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until browned. Stir in honey mustard mixture, turning to coat chicken. Cook 3 minutes or until chicken is done.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 small cloves garlic
  • ½ (8-oz) loaf French bread, cut into 3 slices
  • 1½ Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¾ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ¾ tsp honey
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Cut 1 garlic clove in half; mince remaining garlic clove, and set aside.
  2. Place bread on a baking sheet; rub with halved garlic cloves, and drizzle with ½ Tbsp oil. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
  3. Whisk together lemon juice, 1 Tbsp oil, Dijon, honey, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a bowl. Add broccoli; toss. Chill until ready to serve.
