Upside-Down Pizza Skillet
Mixed Greens and Pear SaladIngredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ lb ground Italian pork sausage
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
- ½ (14-oz) jar gluten-free pizza sauce
- ¼ cup water
- ½ (4-oz) pkg gluten-free seasoned croutons
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook beef, sausage, onion, and red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in pizza sauce and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes. Top meat mixture with croutons, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp honey
- ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 small pear, thinly sliced
- 1½ Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 (5-oz) pkg mixed greens
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together oil, honey, and mustard in a large bowl. Toss pear with lemon juice. Add pears and mixed greens to bowl; toss.
