Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti, broken
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, cut into pieces
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
  • 2 (24-oz) jars marinara sauce (or use any pasta sauce)
  • 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and return to dry pot.
  2. Add Italian seasoning, garlic, cream cheese, and salt to hot cooked pasta. Stir until cream cheese is melted and spaghetti is coated.
  3. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain. Stir in pasta sauce.
  4. Spread 2 cups meat sauce in a greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish; top with spaghetti mixture and remaining meat sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with Cheddar. Bake 30 minutes.

  • 2 lb carrots, cut into sticks
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 (11-oz) pkg frozen yeast rolls
  • 1 (24-oz) jar natural applesauce, chilled

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss carrots, oil, honey, salt, and pepper on a large rimmed baking sheet. Spread carrots in a single layer.
  2. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until carrots are browned and tender.
  3. Bake rolls according to package directions. Serve applesauce on each plate.
