Savory Cheeseburger Patties
Warm Bacon-Red Cabbage SlawIngredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Gently mix beef, onion, garlic, and soy sauce in a bowl. Shape into 6 patties.
- Grill, covered, 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top patties with cheese.

- 4 slices bacon
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 6 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain, reserving drippings in skillet.
- Add oil to drippings. Cook cabbage in hot oil and drippings, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until cabbage is slightly wilted.
- Stir in vinegar, onions, salt, and pepper. Crumble bacon; sprinkle over cabbage.
