Baked Penne with Sausage

Ingredients

  • 12 oz whole-grain penne pasta
  • 2 links Italian turkey sausage, casing removed
  • 3 zucchini, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp dried basil
  • 1 (24.5-oz) jar low-sodium marinara sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add sausage, zucchini, and basil; cook 6 to 8 minutes or until sausage is brown, stirring to crumble. Add marinara sauce.
  3. Toss pasta with sausage mixture and place in a baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Bake 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
