Skillet Orange Chicken

Sugar Snap Peas and Steamed Rice

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Whisk together orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl.
  2. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until done.
  3. Add orange mixture, and cook, 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice.

  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sugar snap peas
  • 1 (8.8-oz) pouch microwavable jasmine rice

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Steam peas according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Heat rice according to package directions.
