Barbecue-Bacon Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (18-count) pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls, split and toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Cut strips of bacon in half crosswise. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  2. Meanwhile, stir together beef and seasoning. Shape meat mixture into 18 patties.
  3. Grill patties, covered, 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink in centers. Brush with barbecue sauce, and grill 1 minute longer.
  4. Cut cheese slices to fit patties, and top each patty with 1 slice cheese.
  5. Spread desired amount of barbecue sauce on rolls. Serve patties on rolls with bacon, and, if desired, Memphis-Style Slaw recipe.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, and mustard in a large bowl; add coleslaw. Toss.
