Simple Nacho Pie

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (15-oz) can Ranch-style beans, drained
  • 1 (16-oz) jar salsa, divided
  • 1 (9.75-oz) pkg nacho-cheese flavored tortilla chips
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded colby-Jack cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 1 (8-oz) container guacamole

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning mix and water; cook, stirring occasionally, until very thick.
  2. Stir in beans and 1 cup salsa; cook until thoroughly heated.
  3. Arrange chips in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish; spoon beef mixture over chips, and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with lettuce, guacamole, and 1 cup salsa.
