Walking Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2½ lb ground beef
  • ½ small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
  • 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (1-oz) envelopes taco seasoning mix
  • 12 individual-size bags corn chips or nacho cheese tortilla chips
  • 2 (8-oz) pkg shredded Mexican-blend cheese (or any cheese blend)
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 (16-oz) container guacamole
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and onion in a large pot over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to pot.
  2. Stir in broth, tomato sauce and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until thickened.
  3. To serve, cut open chip bags, and fill each bag with meat and cheese and other desired toppings.
