Creamy Parmesan Salmon
Garlic-Basil VegetablesIngredients
- 2 (6-oz) salmon fillets
- 1 Tbsp butter
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 3 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil (or use 1 tsp dried)
- ½ lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Sprinkle fish lightly with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook in a small skillet coated with cooking spray 4 to 5 minutes per side or until fish flakes with a fork.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add cream, cheese, and garlic paste to pan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in basil.
- Serve sauce and lemon wedges with fish.
