Spooky Crescent Hot Dog Spiders
Broccoli Salad with Red GrapesIngredients
- 12 all beef hot dogs
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- ¼ cup pitted whole black olives, drained well
- Ketchup
- Yellow mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut ends of each hot dog into 4 strips to look like spider legs, leaving about 1½ inches uncut in middle of each hot dog.
- Unroll and cut 6 crescent triangles in half lengthwise, forming two triangles each. Wrap middle of each "spider dog" with a crescent roll strip, starting with narrow end. Place each wrapped dog, seam side down, on a greased baking sheet.
- Using a sharp knife, thinly slice olives. Place two olive slices on each crescent to look like eyes.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until crescents are well browned and spider legs begin to curl. Serve 2 per person with ketchup and mustard.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 lb broccoli florets, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (4.5-oz) pkg crumbled bacon
- ¼ cup diced sweet onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cup seedless red grapes, halved lengthwise
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together broccoli, cheese, bacon, and onion in a bowl.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar. Pour dressing over salad, and toss. Stir in grapes. Chill until ready to serve.
