Ground Beef Gyros
Sea Salt Pita Crackers and HummusIngredients
- ¾ lb ground beef (or use ground turkey)
- 1 tsp Greek seasoning
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 pita bread rounds, halved
- ½ head green leaf lettuce
- 1 Roma tomato, thinly sliced
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Ranch dressing
Instructions
- Combine beef, Greek seasoning, and oregano; season lightly with salt and pepper. Shape mixture into 2 patties.
- Cook patties in a nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Cut patties into thin slices; stuff into pita halves.
- Separate lettuce into leaves. Add to pitas along with tomato and onion; serve with Ranch dressing.
