Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg fully cooked Italian chicken sausage
  • 1½ cups orzo
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 (32-oz) carton chicken broth
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg spinach
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a large lightly greased nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Add orzo and garlic; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  2. Add broth; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  3. Gradually stir in spinach until wilted. Stir in tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
