Simple Nacho Pie
Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- ½ (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- ¼ cup water
- 1 (15-oz) can Ranch-style beans, drained
- ½ (16-oz) jar salsa, divided
- ½ (9.75-oz) pkg nacho-cheese flavored tortilla chips
- 1 cup shredded colby-Jack cheese
- ½ head romaine lettuce, shredded
- ½ (8-oz) container guacamole
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning mix and water; cook, stirring occasionally, until very thick.
- Stir in beans and ½ cup salsa; cook until thoroughly heated.
- Arrange chips in a 9-inch baking dish; spoon beef mixture over chips, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with lettuce, guacamole, and ½ cup salsa.
